Welcome to Hinch's Homestead!
Hinch's Homestead started in 2001 with the purchase of 4 Nubian Dairy
goats from a neighbor. These does were for me to learn how to take care of goats correctly as well as learn more about them.
I showed this herd for 4 years and in 2005 I bought my first foundation doe and continued to breed for the following year.
In 2006 I sold my entire herd except for my foundation doe and bought a couple more does to add to my single doe herd. In
2006 I also added another breed Lamanchas. I strive to concentrate as much as possible on the growth, development and genectics
of my does. My Nubian does are mostly linked to Capitals herd out of Niles Michigan. The does background contain Copper-Hill,
Tom-De-Jon, Fra-Jac's, Hawkwinds, Hoanbu and Lakeshore Farms. My Lamancha does background contain Forrest Pride, Lucky*Star,
Lost Spring, and Elm Glen.
